I wasn't even aware of A People's History until we read "Kindred" by Octavia Butler in #BannedBookskyClub and another reader recommended it. I realized there were so many holes in my history education, and that was one of my favorite subjects in high school.

Good morning! I had a crazy-busy day at work yesterday, so I'm spending today recovering with books and snacks. I'm currently reading this month's #BannedBookSkyClub "Fun Home" by Alison Bechdel.

This one's really resonating with me - I see so many facets of my family in the story.
