#BigBear #baldeagles. Shadow & Kaydee’s arrival at the nest was a little rough with Kaydee a bit too close, causing a minor collision. They shuffled a few sticks, shared a couple beakies, then departed to the roost tree for the night.

#BigBear. #Kaydee caught a whopper of a fish. A visiting eagle gave chase, following her to a tree, where #Shadow provided backup. The visitor didn’t stand a chance and flew off. Interesting teamwork as things here progress.

In #BigBear, #Shadow perched for over an hour before #Kaydee joined him. It wasn’t till then that he moved to the nest & shuffled a few sticks. It’s early days & I'm hopeless at reading their minds, so just grateful to observe and learn.

#BigBear never fails to bring dramatic weather. #Shadow & #Kaydee perched separately throughout the big thunderstorm. As Kaydee was trying some new perches, a HUGE clap of thunder made her lose her footing and she flew off.
