Southland Tales has long been my favorite movie. Just saw the Cannes Cut for the first time; now I love it even more!

I couldn’t find any memes of this scene from the movie though so I put a surprising amount of work into this- an actual, verbatim scene of #TheRock and #BaiLing from #SouthlandTales

A meme depicting an actual scene from my favorite movie, Southland Tales. In the first (top) of four descending panels, The Rock holds Bai Ling’s shoulders as she (SPOILER ALERT) tells him the consequences of clones touching one another, saying “The fourth dimension will collapse upon itself.” In the second panel, their faces are very close to one another as The Rock responds “You stupid bitch.” In the third panel they kiss passionately. In the fourth and final panel, The Rock shoves Bai Ling to the ground, seemingly pretty hard. If you haven’t seen this scene, it is pure cinema, as is this entire movie. And, might I add, the movie is somehow even more prescient now than when it came out!

𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴 is also known for The Crow, Crank: High Voltage, and Southland Tales. Her scenes were deleted from the final movie, and Bai claimed it was because she posed for Playboy, but George Lucas insisted that the cuts were made earlier.
