Since Goodreads is open again, here is my brief review before I share my four page [keeping it to 4 pages has been difficult ngl] review

#AstarionBookSpoilers #AstarionBook

I know I said I won't talk about the #AstarionBook any longer that everything has been said but since I am seeing the discourse breaching containment and reached non fandom territory I have the urge to say that I am not affiliated with any person that bullies the author or bullies other people.

I have finished the official release of the #Astarionbook and after both that and the bootleg, I can confidently say: 0.25/5 ⭐️

I’ll be doing a review as an actual lore master and since so many have pointed out the game conflicts, my focus will be on the D&D lore primarily

" #Yousen kept whispering, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," as, with a board and a sledgehammer, he systematically turned all the bones in #Astarion 's feet to powder while #Cazador read a light novel and offered occasional suggestions." @tkingfisher.com #astarionbook #baldursgate3astarion #godey

#Bg3 #Astarion Crispy's Tavern dropped their #Astarion #AstarionBookSpoilers over a full hour review video of the #AstarionBook #AstarionNovel, this is not a drill. Link to the full #AstarionBookSpoilers vid below ⬇️ and it is magnificent. Here a small excerpt as to what to expect 🤣:

I'll link my review here if you want to read it #AstarionBook #AstarionByKingfisher (for muting purposes)

I'll say one more thing about the #AstarionBook (hashtag so you can mute it)

I do NOT mind Astarion having been nice as mortal. I find the notion really really odd to assume he wasn't. Sure, he probably made mistakes but to say he was and will always be "evil" is such backwards thinking.

Yes, I am a little shit. Yes, I did reference the #AstarionBook. Feel free to @ me. I AM SHAMELESS.

Can we talk about the genius rogue class portraying in #Astarionbook? From the unicorn scab quest to the death god blood heist, every single roguish trait was a delight. One can tell that @tkingfisher.com has at least one rogue in her party. It’s always been my favorite class and now we have a novel

@liza-ilsa.bsky.social inspired me. So, I did a render. And, I wrote a one-shot. archiveofourown.org/works/94212731 #astarionbook #astarion #aureliabg3 #baldursgate3astarion @tkingfisher.com (for the render, not the fic, respectfully)

This person gets it #AstarionBook

@tkingfisher.com Hey, thinking about it, I wanted to say how much I liked the cleric in Astarion. Him being brought up short by Astarion's audacity was...like, of course he's a sincere believer! He's been keeping the faith who knows how long! That was earnestly brilliant right there. #AstarionBook

is it crazy to anyone else other than me that the #AstarionBook has only been out for technically SIX days (meh almost a week) or like...is it just me?

My thoughts on the Astarion book by T Kingfisher.

adding hashtags so you can mute:

To be clear I liked the book! Well the first half. You will see what I mean. "The Tale Of Two Books" I shall call this.

More renders of #HahndenSuriel with that long hair. I can't. Also peep the pink robe and the glow :3 #astarionbook #densuriel #baldursgate3astarion @tkingfisher.com thank you for creating this character who I'm now having FAR too much fun with 😏

Okay, I am honestly pissed at how they butchered this entire story, and my list of shit I hate about the book is too long for Bluesky.

#astarion #tkingfisher #bg3 #astarionbook

OKAY @tkingfisher.com YOU WERE RIGHT LONG HAIR IS CORRECT FUCK #AstarionBook #BaldursGate3Astarion #HahnDenSuriel #DenSuriel #ThePaladin

Fun banter and a sweet himbo, but the canon contradictions and handling of abuse didn’t work for me. If you loved it, that’s okay! Different thoughts, same love for Astarion =) #Astarion #bg3 #vampire #Astarionbook #review
