At this year's #ASI, we visited the #ECOSENSE Forest (@ecosense-sfb-1537.bsky.social). I took these two pictures from the canopy access tower: one in May, when we set up the gas-exchange measurements, and the other last week, after a year of exceptional #heat and #drought.

From doping to root water uptake and paleoclimate - at this year's #ASI I gained insights into many fascinating projects. I think a useful exercise would be to think through how say a chimpanzee would use #ASI. Or a dog. Then extrapolate this to us honestly. It should be safe enough to allow the dog and everything around it to prosper.
