I... I think I got APRS spam? At least I know my igate works 😅

📡 J’ai transformé une Ulanzi TC002 en tableau de bord radioamateur : satellites, Doppler, propagation, APRS, météo, Discord… sans PC allumé.

Part 3 of using AI to create FISSURE plugins.

This time I gave ChatGPT an even shorter prompt in a fresh Temporary Chat, with only a link to the FISSURE repository, and asked it to create an APRS plugin using an RTL-SDR.

Retire the legacy APRS app. digiTAK renders every APRS symbol as a proper TAK icon — digi, weather, ambulance, boat, NWS — on a modern pan-zoom-search map. The richest APRS picture on any client. #APRS #hamradio

Your net's reach = whatever the volunteer digipeater network carries. digiTAK rides existing APRS infra — a marker at your cabin hops hundreds of miles past line of sight. Off-grid, not out of range. #prepper #APRS

https://xtak.ai/products/digiTAK.html

IC needs a ham shadowing a shelter, miles out, no cell. From any TAK client she DMs his callsign — digiTAK puts it on RF, it lands on his radio, his reply hits TAK chat. A guy with just an HT. #EmComm #APRS

The APRS JOKE bot spits out racist jokes. Not funny

Net control, busy ARES exercise. digiTAK's feed filters by source — RF, digipeater, APRS-IS, chat, TAK. Show just RF during the net; flip to APRS-IS when gateway'd. One feed, decluttered. #ARES #APRS
