Skipping the DOI prefix to save a line? APA 7 demands https://doi.org/ prefix, not just the identifier—otherwise the reference breaks in Zotero. Use the full URL and you’ll avoid a last‑minute fix before midterms. Get pro‑written papers via EssayMarket. #APAstyle

Missed the midterm bibliography deadline? Copy the exact DOI string from the publisher page, paste it after “https://doi.org/” and skip the “Retrieved from” line—APA 7th accepts it as is today. #APAstyle

Skipped the period after the year in an APA 7 in‑text citation—(Smith, 2022) instead of (Smith, 2022). Professor docked 2 points on a 25‑page lit review, dropping my GPA by.03. Fix: always place the period before the closing parenthesis. #APAstyle

When my professor asked why my APA in‑text citation had a period after the year, I realized the rule: (Doe, 2021). No extra punctuation. For a DOI, place https://doi.org/ before the number in the reference list. #APAstyle

Forgot to include the DOI in an APA 7 journal citation; the professor subtracted two points on a 10‑page literature review because the reference read “Retrieved from https://…” instead of “ Rule: APA 7 requires the DOI, formatted as a URL, right after the page range. #APAstyle #ResearchSkills

Used the DOI in my APA 7 reference and the citation auto‑formats; the same article cited with a plain URL forces a manual retrieval date and extra punctuation. DOI = cleaner, URL = more steps. Choose DOI when available. #APAstyle #citationstyle
