Animatictober Day 14?: Roughs 45%

So I got my days mixed up and ended up doing more roughs versus the reference I was supposed to be doing today. This wasn't quite 45% since I wanted a easy stopping point. I made some great progress. I'll do the reference on day 16 instead. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 13: Roughs 25%

We're 25% of the way there now! A couple segments gave me a run for my money. I conquered some and some I will definitely need to revisit. I am proud of myself for trying angles I would shy away from in the past. #animatictober #wip

Day 8 of #animatictober

Recently I put rough sketches in the video editing software and I still need to add more scenes to match the music. I wish I had more time for drawing, but today I was too exhausted to do more.

Animatictober Day 12: Roughs 10%

Here's the opening 27 seconds of the animatic. There will probably be some adjustments down the line. It's great getting to have the characters in the backgrounds.

Day 4&5 of #animatictober

I'm still sketching out the scenes but I made quite a lot of them. Most of my ideas came spontaneously to me as some pictures in my head. I think I can start compiling the images in video editing software just to see how it looks with music.

Animatictober Day 11: Blocking 100%

I chose one heck of a day to start doing reel updates. I made some rough cuts for the second half of the animatic because its mostly a black background. Without the characters, it's a bit boring. The backgrounds a pretty simple for this. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 10: Blocking 50%

Today's a late post since I was out and about today. I started my file in Storyboard Pro and began blocking out the backgrounds. Thankfully it's a lot of copying and pasting. Starting tomorrow I may switch to posting reels for my updates. #animatictober #wip

Animatictober Day 8: Review Work

Chose to line up my thumbnails on one page and to do sketched character line up. I thought of an idea that incorporates some color but I'll show more of that tomorrow. I also added some character & stage directions to the thumbs. #animatictober #roughsketch

Animatictober Day 6: Thumbnails 100%

This half of the thumbnails has the ideas that I feel will make or break me this month. There's a couple things I could do for a few shots so we'll see where I'll end up. #animatictober #thumbnailsketch
