I brought the painting back out to work on it and finish it. I decided to include a couple little barn swallows flying through the prairie above the wildflowers. 🪶

#SciArt #BirdArt #Animalllustration #WildlifeIllustration

The full acrylic painting with the new addition of two barn swallows in the lower right corner. There are some silhouettes of future flowers showing up here and there. The city of Chicago is in the distance , past the lake. A large closin blooming compass flower takes up most of the left half of the canvas, and a bee is havinga meal in one of the flowers. A close of the first stages of the pair of swallows being paintedThe birds are mostly finished. Now on to the flyers and Bunny and more!

I'm in the middle of painting a scene from Chicago's bird sanctuary in #acrylics #WIP with a 🐝 on a 🌻. I'm looking through my photos and deciding on birds. Chicagoans: What #Chicago birds should I include?
