The 100 hands panel surprised me by being so high on the wall that the wide angle lens I chose for the hike wouldn't capture it, so I did the best I could with the zoomed-in phonecam. Rams came out better.

A stratified sandstone wall with an overhang casts partial shadow on a rock art panel depicting several rows of hand depictions. The image is rendered in a warm sepiatone. Petroglyphs of bighorn sheep on a sandstone wall in sepiatone. It appears that someone has chiseled the stone around the most prominent pair of sheep with the goal of removing the panel. Fortunately, that work was never completed.

A rank of stone walls run along the bottom of the image. They are partially ruined but still stand in stark contrast to the natural terrain beyond, which includes a dry arroyo and a sagebrush plain stretching into the distance. A disk-shaped rock formation has been used by ancient builders as the locus for a ruined watchtower above, and possibly a granary below in the shade of the overhanging rock. Conifers and scrub brush dot the rocky terrain, while the blue sky above shares the frame with a puffy white cloud.
