Well played. I'm starting in the middle of the trilogy, and I'm able to easily keep up. There are a few back story items that I'd like more details on. For those, I do have the first book and hope to go back to it before I read the conclusion, but I don't think it's a requirement. From the beginning, Sawyer (little nuisance, petit diable, Sawwie(sp?)) Davvies is fighting her attractions even to the men she's already given herself to. One man is twisted, the other hot. I expected this to be wicked hot, and it didn't disappoint. 🌶 -- Book quote 'Forget possession. Pure obsession has taken over.' -- Tytus Tremblay Now, here's my quick take on our amorous, possessive men. Tytus (Ty) Tremblay definitely has some demons that he needs to exorcize before he can be worthy of Sawyer. His 🍆 piercings do have me overlooking a flaw or five. 🔥 And those moments they get lost in each other are... 🫦 ...dynamite. 💥 I think he's the hardest for me to come around to. The past haunts Mercer Eden, too, and when he gives into the darkness, I'm left wondering if Sawyer can forgive his mistake. He is definitely over-the-top even on a good day. I mostly find his antics hit my dark sense of humor. He does need a swift kick in the pants on occasion. Just be careful where you kick because those other skills are very yummy. The fact that he seems to be as fluid with his sexuality as Sawyer makes me like him a bit more. Noah Henry is the heart and provides a safe space for those he cares for. He's incredibly easy to like. Like everyone else, he has some ghosts that haunt him, but his sensitive nature calls to me. I'll be back. I need to see where this goes. I listened to the audio book.
