The #LincolnMemorial #ReflectingPool built in the 1920s, used water from the #DC Municipal Water System. For over 80 years, NO ALGAE. In 2009, #OBAMA's #AmericanRecoveryandReinvestmentAct switched it to water from the #TidalBasin - a #SWAMP ! NOW THERE'S #ALGAE !
