I just have too much to say about this piece. Check out the ALT text for the first one for all my ramblings <3

This is the piece that has sat in my brain for a month and a half now. Every time I looked at the list something in my brain always brought the end of "Line without a Hook" This song often just comes to mind and it never fully leaves my system before it returns again. So while I made this piece I listened to it on loop. In fact writing this I am still listening to it. The lines make me feel this divide in reality versus feeling. So with it I made a piece of two children playing adult at a dance but as the boy looks to his dance partner he doesn't see a child like him but an elegant lady far more refined than him. This is why in the piece he is dressed in common clothes and spiky messy hair. They are not the same in his own eyes no matter how similar they may be. As I was talking about this piece I also remembered the episode in Frieren when Stark is dressing as a noble and dances with Fern. How he looks at her like she's more than he could ever wish for. Is this all too much for a simple piece like this?
