I've cut all the squares to make the #colorful #design you see on the right. Is the #layout perfect? No, but it doesn't have the same color touching itself anywhere which was the #goal. This will be a #babyquilt. I'm also gonna do a #triparoundtheworld using the same #fabrics. 💕

With my green cutting mat as the background, you see before you a "rainbow" of cut fabric squares. Red on the left, followed in an arch of orange, yellow, green, light blue, and ending in dark blue with construction vehicles, hedges, and traffic signs. Below the fabric arch is my rotary cutter. This is a photo of graph paper showing the placement / layout of the fabrics from the other photo. Mostly L shapes made of squares make up this design (four single squares at the corners and two sets of paired squares - one top center and one bottom center, and one 2x2 center square) this design is for a baby quilt. The dark blue is for the construction vehicle fabric, then the rest of them are color coordinated.

Working on this #quilt top. It... Is far from perfect. I had to square up the edge on one side which meant cutting off a couple #points and I'm #HEARTBROKEN 💔... 😭 But otherwise it's turning out #pretty. #alttextavailable for low vision users.

Here is a quilt top spread across a wooden floor. It is made up of red and cream chevrons alternating with a floral hexagon patterned fabric. The chevrons form a secondary pattern if you squint to find it - it's like echoes of the center diamond going out diagonally - but the pattern is called "walk about". Also in this image are pieces of furniture around the edges of the image. There's the edge of a grey-blue rug at the bottom left corner of the image, a tan futon in the upper left, and map chairs with wooden legs at the top left corner. I hope these alt text descriptions help. 💕
