And for #WackyWednesdayArt, I took an ordinary fallen #leaf (but really, are any of them actually ordinary?) and played with color and swirls. #Art #Photography #AlteredReality #Fall #Leaves #PNW #ECK #GoOutside #Breathe #Notice #Imagine #KeepGoing

A maple leaf fell on the pavement. I took a picture of it. I dialed up the saturation and played with the colors some more, then I used the swirl tool and made the pavement look like royal blue water and the leaf pink and light bluish-lavender - and swirled it so it looks like it was melting and curling into the pavement.

I was bored one evening and started playing with this picture. #WackyWednesdayArt #ArtYear #Leaf #Raindrops #AbstractArt #PhotoArt #AlteredReality #ECK #PNW #Imagine #GoOutside #Breathe #Notice #KeepGoing

An altered reality, abstract edit of a picture of a lead lying on the deck. Playing with saturated colors and swirls, I turned the grays of the deck into swirling blues that look stream like, and the leaf has magenta, blue, purple, and yellow with raindrops on it. Very silly.

This is for #WackyWednesdayArt… I fell into the #swirl tool again. Calling this one “Melting into Fall”. A real #maple #leaf picture, but in #AlteredReality mode. #Abstract #NaturePhotography #PNW #ECK #GoOutside #Breathe #Notice #KeepGoing

A bright yellow-orange Norway maple leaf against a bright blue sky, but everything around it has been swirled into spirals with the “swirl” tool in my photo-editing software. I usually like to keep things on the realistic side, but I’ve been experimenting lately.
