Earlier this year, Opera shipped a feature letting AI assistants like ChatGPT read a user's open tabs. The customer on your site can now ask an AI assistant what it sees. The wording on your page is now read by the person, and by their machine.

A customer's AI assistant can now fill out your booking form.

Anthropic enabled this for its Claude AI assistant in August. It reads your labels and types in the boxes.

Test: can you submit your own form using only the keyboard? If you can, an AI assistant probably can too.

52% of businesses using AI use it for sales and marketing, per a U.S. Census Bureau paper. Writing posts, sending emails. The next step is making sure a customer's AI assistant reads that work when it's asked for a recommendation. Those two systems aren't connected by default.

Pew Research Center, June 2026: 57% of US adults under 50 say they use ChatGPT. For those 50 and older, it's 28%. If your next customers are younger people, this is a number to watch.
