Skipped the DOI in my APA 7 reference list to save space, but the professor docked points. Now I paste the full https://doi.org/10.1234/abcde exactly as shown—no trailing period, no “Retrieved from.” Works for midterm drafts. #academicwriting

Student habit worth stealing: when a source feels important, write a 2-sentence summary in your own words IMMEDIATELY. Future-you during lit review will be grateful. #AcademicWriting #StudentSuccess

Just got my term paper done by a PhD writer—turns out it was totally original and on time, so I could actually relax before the deadline. #essaywriting #collegetips #academicwriting

Outline first, then write vs. write first, outline later. I tried the latter for my personal statement and got a rambling draft; the former made each paragraph serve the thesis. Outline saves a revision round. #academicwriting

2 minutes before you type anything, jot a one‑sentence thesis on a sticky note and paste it at the top of your draft. When the argument drifts, you’ll spot the gap instantly. #academicwriting

Forgot to add the period after the year in an APA 7 in‑text citation (Doe, 2023). The professor marked it as “incorrect format,” costing me 2 percentage points on a 20‑point midterm. Next time: (Doe, 2023). #academicwriting

Write your conclusion first, then reverse‑engineer each paragraph to hit those points—great for tight word limits. Or draft the whole essay, highlight the thesis, then cut everything else down to match it. The first method saves you from endless rewrites. #collegetips #academicwriting
