Just back from another 4 days hiking and sketching on the Lost Coast Trail. As we waited for the tide, we watched cormorants, sea lions and pelicans rest on this rock, while the sea surged around it.

4 Days hiking and painting on the Lost Coast, 3 of them shrouded in a thick bubble of fog. No horizon, no coastal views, no visible sunrise or sunset. Yet it was still the most amazing experience.
