#367CollinsSt #peregrinefalcons. It was a chaotic morning as F24 tried to shelter the 3 chicks from the sun. Ultimately, all 3 called it quits on the south nest & made their way to the gutter & shade. They got 2 lunches for their efforts.

#367CollinsSt. #peregrinefalcons. Sadly, 1 of the 4 chicks died from heat exposure, but the other 3 are thriving. Here we see a busy morning with 3 feedings, removal of the dead chick, and a lot of character from the remaining chicks.

#367CollinsSt. falcons. When F24 rose from brooding to take prey to the pantry, 1 chick got caught on her foot & was pulled out towards the ledge. The little one pined for its floof pile till mum returned & quickly put him/her back in place.

At #367CollinsSt in Melbourne, M24 arrived empty-taloned before sunrise. F24 sent him off, but was then happy to see him when he returned with large prey. His incubation egg lullaby was gold, as always.
