この #POPEYE での仕事は収録されていなかった。きっと他にも紹介されていない仕事が膨大にあるに違いない…

Even in the collection of works I have "The Truth of Legendary Illustrator #Kosuke Kawamura" (P.Vine BOOKS) This work in #POPEYE was not included. I'm sure there must be a lot of other jobs that haven't been introduced...Photo, no description

秋の古本市にて。
雑誌 #POPEYE (平凡出版 ＊現マガジンハウス)の70〜80年代刊行号が多く目についた。大半はIVYなどのファッションか、SKIやテニス・ジョギングなどのスポーツ特集が目立つ中、カルチャー特集だけに着目してDIGしたところ全一冊カリブ特集(1979年8/25号)を発見!
カリブの島々の歴史や雑学に加え、レゲエ・サルサなどの音盤紹介、ラスタファリズムの解説などディープな内容。
特に興奮したのは特集全ページに必ず一つ #河村要助 のイラストが添えられていること！その数50枚近くが掲載されており、ちょっとした画集としても眼福の一冊。

At the used book market in autumn. I noticed a lot of issues published in the 1970s and 80s of the magazine #POPEYE (Heibon Publishing *now Magazine House). Most of them are fashion such as IVY, and while sports features such as SKI, tennis, and jogging stand out, I found a whole book of Caribbean special feature when I DIG focusing only on the culture feature! In addition to the history and trivia of the Caribbean islands, there is an introduction to sound records such as reggae and salsa, and an explanation of rastafarism. What was particularly exciting was that there was always one illustration of #Kawamura Yosuke on all pages of the special feature!
