A barbershop sign I spotted in Ageo. The slightly retro Western-style font gives it a vintage feel. While buildings like this are often still standing, perhaps it’s because these shops are usually run by a single generation.

近江八幡市を出発し、豊郷町にあるレトロ建築｢豊郷小学校旧校舎群｣を見学にいきました。けいおんの聖地らしい！
近江八幡市にいる時からちょいちょい名前を見かけていた、ヴォーリズ建築。ヴォーリズさんはあのメンソレータムにも関わる実業家とのこと。
学校ながら洗練された雰囲気でしたなぁ。おいらもこんな校舎に通いたかった！そして、走っちゃダメなのにこの長い廊下を見ていると走りたくなってしまった。
階段の手すりや登り口にいるウサギとカメが可愛い。なぜこのモチーフ？
校長先生に扮したネポがいますよw

守山市の辺りを離れて近江八幡市へ移動！
ココは見たいものやりたいこと、面白いものがいっぱいで、この日だけでも写真の量が膨大になってしまいました。ちょっとずつ上げていきますw
まずは日牟禮八幡宮へお参り。今更ですが、旅の安全を祈願です。
一番見たかったのは白雲館という旧学校の洋館だったのですが、歩いていると他にもビビっとくる建築、街並みをちょいちょい見つけられました。

Hongo chuo Church was founded in 1890 by Charles Eby. Rebuilt in 1929 after the Great Kanto Earthquake, this Gothic-style structure houses a kindergarten on the lower levels and a chapel above. A prominent tower crowns its northeast corner.

Opened in 1874 at Manpuku-ji Temple, this elementary school moved to its current site in 1934. Although closed in 1975, this beautiful wooden building from that era remains well-maintained and is still used for various community events today.

たまごサンドも美味しかったけど、値段にびっくり。
あと、シャインマスカットのズコット。
2,200円の価格、更にびっくり。
（果実園リーベルが作ってるようです。）

カフェやホテルが提供しているオリジナルブレンドのコーヒーとか紅茶ってイマイチパッとしないのが多いですが、こちらのカフェオリジナルのティーは、ほのかにマスカットの香りがして、とても気に入りました。

AIに空いてる時間帯を聞いてから行って正解。空いてて快適でした。
