A Jacanidae ( also called Jesus birds or lily trotters) walks across lily pads along the New River between Orange Walk and the Lamanai Mayan ruins. Sorry, it’s not tack sharp as we're tracking a fast-moving bird from a slow-moving boat.

There are layers of autumn colors. The view looks through the brown/maroon branches and leaves of one tree on to a full, brilliant orange-red tree. In the background are some greener trees, while on the ground lie golden leaves.

There's a small Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle Warbler) in the center of the photos with a white throat and a bright yellow patch on its rump, crown, and sides of the breast. The bird was one of several warblers that were flying around in the trees. This bird was perched on a dark brown branch of a white oak tree with more brown branches, green, orange and red leaves, and a blue sky in the background. Seen on a forest trail next to a small pond in Concord, Massachusetts.
