Our photograph captures the Collegiate Parish Church of St Paul's Shipwreck, a historic Baroque church located in Valletta, Malta. The building is renowned for its connection to Saint Paul and its distinctive Maltese architectural heritage. Dominating the image is the church's magnificent golden limestone façade, illuminated by bright sunlight against a breathtaking, deep cobalt-blue sky. The warm, honey-coloured stone creates a dramatic contrast with the vivid blue above. The church's symmetrical façade features two imposing bell towers, each crowned with an ornate stone structure and a metal cross. Within the open arches of the towers, dark bronze bells can be seen hanging in shadow.
