A local beauty spot. I have to get here by car and drive down a long, narrow lane which is full of very deep potholes. At the end of the lane is a ford and on either side more potholes. As I drive through it I hope that there are no deep potholes under the water.
If I make it through the ford without damaging my car, which I always have, then I have to park in a very uneven car park with large sharp stones!
It’s always worth it and in a couple of weeks the beech trees will look beautiful in their autumn colours.
It is also a wonderful place for water birds.
