This news item talks about a study that found that lack of safe bicycle infrastructure doesn’t result in more injuries… but thankfully they dove into the details and it’s the same b/c less people ride.

In other words, people factor the risk in the mode they choose.

Bow River Pathway north side between 14 St and 10 St NW looks to be freshly paved but remains closed from use. The concrete delineator, that separates walking from wheeling, now hard to distinguish from the pavement oil staining.

Had to wear proper winter gloves this morning on the ride into work. First time this fall season.

It amazes me when I look back at it, how long it took me to realize wearing winter gloves while biking was entirely possible.🤷‍♂️
