This #YorkshireDales walk follows the river Ribble. Views to Moughton Scar & the vast quarry there. An interesting feature is Churn Milk Hole, a large sink hole, sitting on a geological fault line. Good views of Pen y ghent. Poor photos as overcast. See www.happyhiker.co.uk/MyWalks/York...

Noticing Nature.

I’ve spent every ounce of energy on this anniversary adventure — perhaps borrowing a little from tomorrow too.

So I sat on a sun-warmed rock beside the River Swale, balancing pebbles and listening to the water slip by.
