Both Sid and Lu regret this conversation. Lu doesn't usually get angry or confrontational, but he definitely knows what will hurt the most to hear.

"Who gives a flying fuck what she thinks is useful?" Sid angrily shrugged.
Lu weakly smiled. It quickly faded.
"You do what you want with your life, Lu. It's yours."
He scoffed, tears spilling again. "Y-yeah, because I'm so fuckin' special. Why don't you or Nit do what you want with your lives?! At least Neb is doing something she wants to do!"
"W-we are doing what we want with our lives."
Lu glared at him. "You fucking liar."
"We are!"
"Oh, so you just want to live with a sadistic bitch who keeps us hostage and makes us all miserable?! I understand Neb staying, but you and Nit have shit you're actually good at other than fucking people! And you both stay?!" Lu demanded, tears falling too fast to evaporate and stinging his skin.
"Wh-why? Why did you stay? Why are you still here?" His voice broke, growing softer as he kept going.
"Lu, it's–if we didn't want to be here, we'd leave."
"Don't fucking lie to me!" Lu stood, fuming as tears kept spilling. "It… it's me, isn't it?" He softly asked. "You're still here… because of me."
Sid looked up at him, then away.
"Why? To protect me? To keep me safe? Because you've all done a fantastic job so far! Thank you for your noble sacrifice! I hope it's been worth it to go through fucking hells for no goddamn reason!"
"Seeing you happy is a damn good reason to stay," Sid quietly replied. "Keeping Neb safe while she finishes studying is a damn good reason to stay," he added, looking back up at him.
"You're fucking idiots," Lu snapped before he left for his room, slamming the door hard enough to rattle the stone arch of the doorway.
Sid leaned forward, pressing his face into his palms. After several deep breaths he lifted his face, clearing his throat harshly. He tightly shut his eyes, shaking his head as he cleared his throat again. He let a shaking breath escape as his eyes began to steam.

Yes. And:

(I'm mostly joking but also not entirely 😅)

10/10 Stella, Sid, and Lu
9/10 Nit
7/10 Sol (prefers subtle intimidation)
6/10 Sorrel (with anyone but Lu)
3/10 Nebula
2/10 Tara

0/10 John/Briar (they have 0 interest in anyone else)

-1/10 for Gabriel. Man has negative charisma with dating.

"Sigh"

A bad relationship can't *always* be bad... Right?

"Mm!" Sol jolted when Lu pulled him into a hard kiss, tugging on his face and flames as he sat himself directly on this lap. Sol was lost for a few moments in the kiss, eagerly and aggressively deepening it. His hand naturally slid to Lu's flames and held him tight.
Emotion caught in his throat, constricting around his chest. He came so very close to never kissing him again.
He pulled back, breathing hard as he looked down at Lu, who was smiling softly back at him.
"The next town we stop in, the next time we can get a room with a real bed, we're getting married," Sol told him.
"Wh-what?" Lu asked, flabergasted.
"Don't you want to?" Sol asked with a crooked grin.
"I-I ye-yes? I do, b–"
"Then we're getting married."
"Why?"
"Because you're mine, and I want everyone to know it," Sol sighed, brushing his thumb over Lu's cheekbone with a softening smile.
"And there are so many people who don't know that already?" Lu scoffed playfully.
Sol frowned slightly. "I can't introduce you properly when we meet people. I can't just say 'This is Lu, he's mine. Fuck off.' "
Lu snorted. "O-okay, fair," he agreed.
