I've talked enough.

No more hints. No more holding it back.

Today, you hear the chorus. ⚡

THIS AMERICA — OCTOBER 16

Hatred doesn't become acceptable because it comes from someone on "your side."

If we're going to stand against it, we have to stand against it everywhere. ⚡

Tomorrow, I stop telling you about the chorus.

Tomorrow, you hear it. ⚡

THIS AMERICA — OCTOBER 16.

There was an easier version of THIS AMERICA.

Cleaner. Safer. More comfortable.

I deleted it.

Comfortable wasn't the point. Honest was. ⚡

The anger wasn't accidental. Neither was the language.

I rewrote. I cut. I questioned. But I didn't sanitize what I felt.

Every word was a choice. ⚡

Some lines change the whole song.

I knew this one would get a reaction. I could've softened it.

I left it exactly where it was. ⚡

I could've made THIS AMERICA safer. I didn't.

The anger, disappointment and hope all belong there.

And the part I almost talked myself out of releasing?

You haven't heard the chorus yet. ⚡

Who gets heard—and who gets ignored?

That question became one of the lines at the heart of THIS AMERICA.

“And I had to watch the powerful / Decide who gets to have a say.” ⚡

Questioning your country isn't the same as giving up on it.

Sometimes you question it because you still believe it can be better.

That's where THIS AMERICA comes from. ⚡

You've heard why I wrote it.

You've learned its name.

You've seen the cover.

Now…

turn the sound on. 🔊

This is your first listen to THIS AMERICA.

No explanation this time.

Just listen.

October 16, 2026. ⚡

For the last week, I've talked about freedom.

Truth.

Rights.

Patriotism.

Anger.

Hope.

I've told you why I wrote the song before I ever told you what I called it.

Now you know.

THIS AMERICA. ⚡

A new song by Grayson Volt.

More today.

Patriotism isn’t pretending everything is fine. It’s caring enough about your country to speak up, question those in power, and demand that the freedoms promised to everyone actually belong to everyone.

That’s the America worth fighting for. ⚡🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Genuine question: What does “This America” mean to you? Not the politics, not the party, the country itself. I wrote a song asking some of those questions. 🎤 “This America” Ace The Arkitek on YouTube. What’s YOUR answer? 👇
