A 9 o'clock photo for you that's also part of the #ThickTrunkThursday tag.
Mt Hood National Forest, trail near Lost Lake.
There were once very large trees throughout the northwest, and we lose a few more every year.
Land here is leased to a private resort, so far saving this part of the forest.

A boardwalk runs through a dense forest. Trees on both sides of the trail are quite large, and run far up and out of the range of the photo.
