This is beautiful. #Quartz is behind in the poll. Come on, let's make quartz the #MinCup26 champion. (And for goodness sake, it can't be knocked out on round 1!!) Vote quartz! #TeamQuartz

Support for Quartz from years past. It’s still the best choice for #MinCup26! It’s bananas that it’s trailing in the first round but #TeamQuartz we only need 30 votes in the next 9 hours to take the lead.

Vote for Quartz!

Further arguments for why Quartz is the best mineral to win #MinCup26!

#TeamQuartz assemble! For some unaccountable reason it’s currently trailing a mineral most of us have never heard of… in the first round.

Go vote Quartz here:

After 10 years, #quartz deserves a win this time! #TeamQuartz.

Based on the #MinCup26 picture, #Asagiite is prettier, but my favorite color is purple, and amethyst is a variety of #Quartz! I'm #TeamQuartz for this round.

#Quartz has never won #MinCup in 10 years of this contest (not running every time)!? It's time (like in your watch) to change that. This year, I am #TeamQuartz. This mineral needs recognition for its near ubiquity in crustal rocks. #MinCup26
