I always get questions about the hare sculpture whenever it shows up on camera, so I thought I would try to paint it. It's by one of my favorite ceramic artists @nickmackmansculpture (IG), who you should certainly check out.

Morningside Park usually only has so much for me when it's not winter...but I felt inspired to redeem yesterday's composition with one that actually felt complete and solid.

This less forgiving subject was quite a struggle. I gave it over 90 minutes, so I ran the timelapse much faster than usual.
I bumped the tripod a bit more than usual. this time, but I don't hate the camera angle.
