#Spaceshiptmeber day 25; Mothership

going with a 1950s Adamski inspired design for this one

#25 Missiles.

An NTLF Missile Destroyer. Unlike the other modular designs, this one was purpose-built over Typhon. It evokes in spacers the visage of a 'spicy toothbrush', and is armed with 60 heavy torpedoes per sortie.

25:MISSILES
The High-Impulse Shaped-Charge munition is sent to enemy targets in swarms with other kinetic missiles and Stiletto drones. Once within 15km of the target, the massive charge is triggered, sending a jet of plasma at the enemy ship.

the research vessel "Wolf-Rayet" has many new places to be and many new things to do

Day 25: Mothership
#spaceshiptember #sst26 #sst2026

Day 25: Missiles. This one started off way back on day 13, as an early draft of the carrier. It wasn't quite large enough for a capital ship, but was easily revised into a missile cruiser. And that wraps up the green fleet; still a few more to go for red and blue. #LEGO #Spaceshiptember #SST #SST26

#SST26 Day 25: Missiles
While the diligent work of the SEC on cleaning out the orbits of Saturn's moons has managed to clear out most of these loitering missile systems, the SEC continues to advise against hiking trips in groups more than 4 on Enceladus

Engines kicked on and we burned hard for a higher orbital position. It was only a fifteen-second burn, but we pulled four-Gs for most of it, and it felt like it lasted hours.

Work is rough and Im too tired to model so heres the thumb for #sst26 d24: blue/yellow which were the colors I once picked for the Ascarian gov run transport line. So this is one of their passenger liners, and with a blurb about them not having real civ ships as a method of control

23:CONVOY
-I definitely saw a thermal bloom a few thousand klicks back.
-Orient us back towards those readings, weapons hot. Let's get some radar on whatever it is.
-This was supposed to be a boring convoy gig...

Spaceshiptember Day 24: Yellow

"Someone has to make a living out of flying up and down well"

#sst26 #sst2026 #Spaceshiptember

A soft-bodied worm wriggled his way into the back of the ship. The warmth of the fusion core was just a bulkhead away, and he was bathed in the Cherenkov radiation emanating from the tanks.

"You said you've got a blockage in the aft bladder, right?"

Day 21/22 Organic and Huge

A pair of pieces, a giant organic ship capturing starships.

#24 Blue (...and also a lot of orange).

The Fruitfly is a custom variant of the NuSat Systems Ysmir-class Gunship. The Spacers' Union refit them into Fruitflies, designed to attend civilian convoys and jam would-be pirates' missiles and comms.

Day 24: Blue. Naturally I'm using this for yet another ship in the blue and yellow fleet. For this one I built off the destroyer made for day 14, making a more symmetrical design but retaining the irregular coloration. A simple build, but effective enough. #LEGO #Spaceshiptember #SST #SST26
