We are so far right in the US we have two Conservative parties. What we call #Socialism is known as #SocialDemocracy on the global scale. For Europeans, an actual 5 day work week is mandatory. #UniversalHealthcare is part of their every day life. Like even their Conservative parties just accept it.

As a member of the @demsocialists.bsky.social and a supporter (not a member currently. Don't have the time) of @marxistunitygroup.bsky.social I think we should seize the means of production and have actual #socialism. But most of what @democrats.org are giving that label is #SocialDemocracy

As an actual #DemocraticSocialist I find it funny these @democrats.org keep calling #SocialDemocracy #Socialism. They aren't trying to seize the means of production or taking the Trump family out back to kill them... In Minecraft. They are calling for #UniversalHealthcare and strong labor protection

And they are so afraid of #Socialism they don't realize the socialism they are terrified of is not Socialism, it's #SocialDemocracy. It's what Europe has had for years. And it's what people actually want. Not Democrat candidates talking about how they hate brown people and love guns too. Do better!

Tomorrow I'm going to finish the relationships pertaining to the factors of production. Then I really need to start thinking about the details and implications of justicial relativity or dependence. #communism #socialism

But yeah, based on my study of history I'm really thinking that constitutional socialism is the way forward. A communist republic with separation of powers to suppress the capitalist class and prevent counter-revolution while avoiding authoritarianism and totalitarianism. #communism #socialism
