Her current job is Lastak's favourite so far. She gets to help people out and use her magic at the same time, and everyone knows she's a mage and it's never a problem.

When we meet Loke, she's a high priestess of the Biyeho faith. She is OBSESSED with her job. She's super devoted to it and when she has to give it up at the end for *reasons,* it's really disappointing to her :( She really hates her new job(s). Those are spoilers tho

Micah makes and sells things at his town's market! He's also a beekeeper.
He loves doing this. Keeping bees makes him feel close to his mother, as does baking cookies using her recipes, making soap and candles the way she taught him, etc.
(He even likes brewing potions!)

MC isn't asking for help, he's demanding your assistance & no, you don't have a choice.

The goddess only helps those who help themselves (& her) - it's up to you.

Fiachra would never ask for help, full stop. Too proud.

Cailean often finds himself seeking out the wisdom of his elders/peers (if he respects them).

Kai struggles with asking for help, he's never gotten any.

Rhiannon is the one who offers help.

Well, Mel does have a TA and her mom she often goes to for support but she's gradually learning to be independent. Though, tbh I don't think she wants them to fix her problems as much as she just wants them to comfort her.

Younger kids like Natila and Aleta might be ok with help.

5) Asking for help

Renard has to learn to ask for help and rely on others. He was born a runt, and has a deep-seated need to prove himself. He has to learn, over time, that he doesn't have to do everything on his own and relying on others does not make him weak.

Jake- struggles immensely and will pretend like nothing's wrong for most things, but if he's dead set on something he will ask for help
Adam- partly unsure, but i think he struggles asking for help
Ben- asks for help, but doesn't receive it so he's given up trying

Jesse- no issues asking for help unless it related to family matters, she shoves all of that under the rug
