#Jessie looks beautiful in this dress, she's ready to be the new #DisneyPrincess after 27 years of existence and relevance in the film industry! 👸✨

Do you think Jessie deserves to be a Disney princess?

#ToyStory #ToyStory5 #Disney #Pixar

When I went to watch Toy Story 5 with my family, I had low expectations because of the collective hatred towards Disney (if you know what I mean). The irony is this: It was Father's Day when we decided to go watch it. My mom, who had been so insistent on watching it, didn't like it. On the other hand, my dad, who hadn't felt like going to the movies, loved it; it made that day worthwhile. Personally, I liked it more than Toy Story 4, and it even made up for the mistakes of the previous film. I liked the fact that they made Jessie the protagonist, and they even gave her a beautiful princess dress in the most iconic scene of the movie. That's why I decided to make this painting with acrylic markers that my sister lent me. I used real makeup to highlight some parts of the face and clothing; I also used silver glitter sticks to give it a bit of a 2010s Disney Princess vibe. After watching the painting, I thought the silver glitter wouldn't show up well, so I used star-shaped glitter, which, coincidentally, I found in the same store where I bought the canvas and easel. These stars are perfect for Jessie, since she's a cowgirl who's just been awarded a sheriff's badge. I placed the stars very carefully and precisely: the blue ones for the skirt and name; the silver ones for the dress stains; the red ones for the hat; the pink ones for the cheeks; and the yellow ones for the gloves, torso, earrings, bows, and shoe.Since the iridescent effect wasn't visible on camera, I decided to edit the stars myself to give them that effect I love. Now Jessie is ready to receive her princess crown; that's right! I want Jessie to be the new Disney princess; she deserves that title after 27 years of existence and relevance in the film industry. Also, I'd love for them to release a fashion doll based on that outfit someday; with good quality clothing, an articulated body, well-styled wool/saran hair, non-pixelated screening, gold high heels, packaging that's not AI-generated, and a really eye-catching base. 🙏🌠

Didn't expect a Pixar movie to crack an Avatar joke, but Hoppers does. A girl's mind gets beamed into a robotic animal, "pond rules" ensue, and parents and kids both laugh. Slow start, fun ride once it gets going.

Aww, Toy Story 5 was better than Toy Story 4 (which really felt off) but it's weird having Woody as such a periphery character. He's only in this movie because I guess he *has* to be in a #ToyStory movie. It's a cute little Jessie and Buzz story. #Disney #Pixar
