A busy morning in the mini forest of the wildlife gardens. A lot of Robins and White-throated Sparrows.

One of the pair of resident Red-tailed Hawks doing some lazy circles above the alley... surveying the scene for food. The other one was close by.
It was pretty quiet down below so they drifted elsewhere.

Blue Jays are very persistent in the morning. They could see me through my kitchen window so they knew I was awake. They'll hang out making a ruckus until I give them a few hazelnuts.

White-throated Sparrow bathing in the back yard.
A lot of birds prefer the water in this planter even though there are dishes with fresh water only a few feet away.

Nashville Warbler
This bird was around all day in the deep foliage of the wildlife gardens. It was a lot more timid than the Tennessee Warblers from the last few days.
