Fox is a spirit guide and trickster. In common with the otter, the fox is said to carry a magic pearl that brings good luck to whomever finds it.

A woodsman accidentally killed the King of Leinster's pet fox! About to be executed, his family came to St Brigid of Kildare for help! On the way to the King, she met a young fox & tamed it!
