'Isso é muito interessante' is correct but sounds flat. To react with real enthusiasm Brazilians say 'Que legal!' or 'Que daora!'. Short, warm, and actually excited.

Portuguese CH is always the soft 'sh' of 'show', never the hard 'ch' of 'church'. 'Chuva' is 'SHOO-va', 'chave' is 'SHA-vee'. One sound, no exceptions.

Brazilians narrate with 'aí', a spoken 'and then'. 'Cheguei em casa, aí vi que esqueci a chave.' It strings a whole story together, no fancy connectors needed.
