He didn't see any harm with giving them #harbour

In twenty years of doing it, they had never been a problem

Then those damn teenagers had to mess with them

The following massacre was all their fault

Why couldn't they leave the mutants alone?

Her star was rising. On the few occasions we met she reassured me that it wasn't because she was free of me.

I would need time to accept that. Her talent shone, and I couldn't help but feel I'd discouraged that.

How had I become so disparaging? How did she forgive me so easily?

Less you remain a ship
in a harbour
never venturing out
even when winds are fair
Happy look out on stormy seas
never taking any chances
that might take you
to far off places
where nobody knows your name

Havenpool #Harbour—
where be Frome and Piddle from?
I prize a fine port.

My garden, maybe not the most well-kept one,
But it is a #harbour for all sorts of creatures:
Frogs and toads,
Blackbirds and robins, foxes
Pigeons, mice, and hedgehogs.
It’s a little green island,
Wild and complete,
Amidst bricks and concrete.

No matter how often you return
Full power into #harbour
Drifting aimlessly to shore
It always may be the last time
The tides carry you back to me
The ocean is eternity
It’s smell that of both freedom and death
They are the same after all
Waves of love and anguish
In tiny bits eroding me away

Water is the harbor
That fosters all life.

Be the sheltering stream
In the midst of strife.

In the verdant #Harbour
Where the tall
Ferns grow,
Close to the
Marshland
Where the heron
Brings the stillness
To the wreckage
Anchored
To the long ago,
Is a pocket
Of wild quiet
That unburdens
The tangled mind
From the
Bricks and mortar
Of the crowded
Existence.

A photo taken at the Dee Estuary of old boats living out their days. This area was once a fishing community, but it has now become marshland and the wildlife is now returning.

Why bury hope beneath the sand
in Never Gonna Happen Land
a better bet I think would be
The #Harbour Of Possibility

Lesson Lane's a bitter pill
located next to Hindsight Hill
Apathy Alley and Dismal Drive
will barely keep that hope alive

"What's with you too? He seems to #harbour just a little resentment." She was still watching the door Thos had just left through.
"Oh that?" Lamont laughed. "Thing you need to know about him, is that he doesn't really know how to express feelings. For anyone." He stared at her pointedly

I don't harbour grudges, but I was pissed off to be assigned so soon after the last debacle.

When cracks are exposed, decisions need to be made about whether to fill them in and hope, or pull down the whole edifice and start again.

They'd just looked away, and started whistling.

for so many years
centuries
desperate, adrift, lost
biting winds, tempest tossed
from every swirling storm at sea
only you
could ever comfort me
though suffocating fog
would blur the distance
I honed my skill
to find you
and you were still there
my #harbour
my home
my fortress
my prayer
