Once The Cat had made her feelings known about the presence of Visitor Cat in the garden, Visitor was fed on top of the garden wall. This arrangement worked perfectly well; The Cat was kept happy and Visitor was kept fed 🐾

Yes, I have an entire garden at my disposal with long grass, trees, comfortable boxes and pods, but all the same I prefer to lie here in the drive, in the corner where the wind blows all the leaves and debris. It's a hard life... 🐾

Pascha and Dandy Grey were tussling and Pascha had emerged the winner 🐾
Dandy Grey was two weeks older than Pascha, and technically his uncle as Pascha's mother was Dandy's older sister (cat relations can get very complicated).

Two older kittens have just finished tussling. One, a peach-and-white cat with a white flash on his back, white legs and a hooped tail, stands tall over the other who is grey-and-white with a white nose, paws and patches. The attitude of the second cat is subservient - garden hierarchy was evident even among older kittens and adolescent cats.

Two kittens are playing in the garden. They have found an old tin and the lighter calico has managed to squeeze most of herself into the tin, leaving only the arch of her back and her tail sticking out. Her sister, who is tortoiseshell, is battling with the solid base of the tin, trying to find her way in to her sister who she knows is inside.

Gypsy circling closer and closer in the hope that Madam Kiwi would step away from the bowl. Gypsy could be quite intimidating, in a completely harmless way, as she had no concept of personal space which some of the other cats found disconcerting 🐾

One of the kittens evaded capture until today, but we found him hiding in the neighbor's trash can, which was on its side. My husband lifted the can, put the lid on it, and the last kitten was reunited with mama.

Up to something new here. I've been feeding a feral mama cat who had kittens in the neighbor's yard a while back. Brought them in yesterday. We had been hoping to work with a rescue, but this has been a busy kitten season for them, no one had room, even when I offered to foster. #feralcats #foster
