#AwesomeCharacters

Most of my characters are more honour than results, which actually ends up in better results.

Eron does not kill people who are not part of 'the game'.
Noble: Does not kill 'human' creatures.
Nyx does not kill humans unless absolutely necessary.
Yuri does not kill Omegas.

Nyx has the most thought out plan, but Noble puts a wrench in his original plans. Not the bad kind, he becomes useful to Nyx's cause.

Nyx has a plan to kill his siblings and in what order he thinks that possible. Noble is just along for the ride. And hopefully, doesn't die.

#AwesomeCharacters

Most of my characters are reactive instead of proactive. A lot of them are in romances though, so they kind of go with the plan as needed.

The Chosen Five (who fight Desdemona)m are winging it every day, all day. They have no clue what they are doing.

#AwesomeCharacters

An Antagonist people could connect with is House Dad Carl, who is the House Dad for Tau Omega Rho who is hell-bent of taking the charter from Delta Chi Rho (where my MCs are from.)

He can be charming, funny, and manipulative. He may [falsely] connect with some people.

#AwesomeCharacters

In [most] of my books, the Antagonist is a large group (cops, werecat prides, werewolf packs, mafia, etc.) so there isn't a singular antagonist for people to connect to.

Desdemona (Queen of Chaos) is just ... pure evil. She kills a lot of people. Like, a lot of people.

I think it depends on what you mean by 'honor'. Iberto is kind of baffled by the notion of honor and if you asked him, he'd say 'Results, of course.' But he will stand by his word, even if it costs him the results he wants.

Caly is results-focused almost to the point of being blind - a major issue as the story goes along.

But I deliberately made her an antihero, so that makes sense. ๐Ÿ˜‹

That depends entirely on what the *thing* is. If honour demands some innocent gets hurt or killed or robbed or similar deprivations, ain't no way Milly gonna allow that to go through just to preserve her 'honour'. Otherwise, maybe.

My characters are not often in situations where their oath/rules and their honour get in the way of each other; however, if it ever did, I'm certain they would pick friends/fam over everything else eventually.
Though both Jackie and Beverly probably struggle a bit more than most

Katie is driven by her honor but she has her breaking points. If it's a hail Mary moment, she's going to fight for what she wants most. Bekah is driven by results but she has a few principles, they're just not always engaged. Megan would never break her promise. Della, debatable.

#AwesomeCharacters (Breaking the rules, on the other hand, depends very heavily on whose rules we're talking about - if it's the law, then all of them barring Fest have very much broken that several times over. If it's certain cultural/species taboos, on the other hand, then... well, spoilers.)

@saranadosfiction.comOct 11, 2026, 6:08 AM

#AwesomeCharacters So for this crew this one very much comes from cultural stuff - oaths are *massively* important in Sacaask culture, so all of them would generally land very heavily on the honour side of the equation there (possibly surprisingly, this very much includes Sabbat).
