@notinspring.bsky.socialSaturday Night Live is being hosted by Dakota Johnson. I want the cold open to be their version of the Eric Schmidt hearing, there is nothing else that stands out as much this week that is something you can mock and make fun of

@plus.rsnstats.com#Rays led American League this regular season in AVG (.258) and on-base percentage (.326). Was their first time to lead the AL in both marks in club history. Also led in AL in stolen bases (164) for a 3rd straight year and had the 2nd-best OPS (.728) in AL after #Astros (.733).
@plus.rsnstats.comFINAL: #WhiteSox beat #Guardians, 3-0 to open their AL Division Series.
Was the 9th all-time win in the first game of any postseason series for CHW (including vs #Astros in ALWC Game 1 last Tuesday).
Was just their 2nd ever win in Game 1 of the ALDS, the first since October 4, 2005 vs #RedSox.
@notinspring.bsky.socialJason Alexander has decided to turn down his option to go to Sugar Land, and is now a free agent. He is a noted Whale Expert and designed some uniforms the Yankees used in one game, before changing back to their old uniforms.
Oh wait, wrong Jason Alexander... never mind
@astrosatoz.bsky.socialThe #Astros have essentially killed all fan-centered events. Fan Fest is a joke. Picnic in the Park is gone.
What are they doing anymore to make fans feel loved?
Don’t whine that we aren’t just full of joy over lackluster performance and nothing to make us feel connected.
@globalvisibility.bsky.social@notinspring.bsky.socialAFL Rosters Hitters and Pitchers in regular season
Bello missed the entire year recovering from TJ surgery and Dixon missed almost all of the season due to injuries but was off to a great start.
all but Monistere, Ochoa, Frias and Pichardo are Rule 5 eligible

@rationalastros.bsky.socialI remember in 22 and 23, the #Astros were 2 of the 3 total division series winners coming off a bye out of 8. The dodgers were humiliated both seasons and the discourse was "clearly the bye is hurting teams" even though the stros proved them wrong. After they figured it out they stopped complaining.
@sohraub.bsky.social
@nickallison80.bsky.socialWalked a mile home after the Astros lost, thinking about dead raccoons, aging dynasties, cosmic entropy, a lucky Dusty Baker T-shirt, and whether it's silly for a 46-year-old to still have a favorite ballplayer. Wrote some of it down.

Ryan Verdugo is a name to remember for the Astros, his stats were not great but he showed improvement
@booksonshelves.bsky.socialHonestly, if Mrs. Greinke wanted to burn down the bad place after 2019 Game 7, I would have understood it.
