Bully-Trying
“I don’t think it necessarily makes the song lesser, but if you listen to ‘Trying’ it’s pretty much the same chord progressions except for the bridge. What changes is the vocal melody and dynamics, so lots of times, melody can do so much."
Alicia Bognanno, 12/12/17.

Wildstar—Giorgio Moroder and Foxes
In 1980, Moroder composed the music for the film Foxes. 35 years later, he would collaborate with an artist who went by the same name as the film.

It’s Too Late—Part Time
The project of San Francisco native David Loca. This is my favorite track from the magnificent LP Virgo’s Maze.

"I think the muse for 'Star Wars' was my tweed Fender Champ amplifier. Almost all of the guitars on the album ran through that, and it just sounds like the biggest fuzzbox on earth. Some of those sounds reminded me of glam rock, which I love."
Jeff Tweedy, 8/19/15.
