I completed 20 blocks, I decided that I like the looks of them so well that I'm doing 72 more as filler to add length and width to the quilt. I do you wish I had bought more yellow, but I had to draw the line somewhere. #quiltsky

20 paper pieced quilting blocks laid down in two rows alternating between lighter blocks and darker blocks. This particular quilting block has a square set inside a square set inside a square. On the initial square, triangles are used to make the additional squares.

Hand “tying” continues of top & batting. Planning something different for sewing the bottom/back on. This quilt is a bit of an experiment for me.
Not my favorite (caused me some headaches) but I’m hoping my daughter likes it. She picked the color and pattern- so 🤞🏻.

That's a wrap people! This morning both Maria and I cleared the walls in the Bartholomeus Gasthuis, and all my quilts are back home again. The 4 months flew by very quickly, but it was so much fun to have this double exhibition. What a unique opportunity to show my quilts in my hometown.
