The new Lotd has the black armour with Bone Aquilas, mostly Skulls, and the new Ethereal Flames.

Yet it's missing all the Flame motif and a lot of Skeleton pieces that broke up the black armour.

I guess I'll just have to add them back in.

The fifth edition LotD turned up the ghostly aspect by having missing bits of armour revealing skeletons beneath.

Yet they still had the black armour bedecked with skeleton parts, Bone Aquilas, and a somewhat stronger Flame Motif.

After thinking about it, checking around, I worked out why I was conflicted.
To me they didn't look quite right, as if something was lacking.

The originals had the Ghostly rep, Black armour bedecked with Skeleton pieces, Bone Aquilas and Flame motifs.

So in Friday's Autumn Preview GW (finally) revealed their Legion of the Damned Kill Team.

Some loved them, some hated them, and as a long-time fan of theirs (I have most of the 3rd Ed. models, and all the 5th Ed. ones) I was conflicted.

I didn't manage to finish but I got around to playing some solo #killteam on Friday night. I'm still super slow, having to consult the rules every five seconds, so I only managed to do 2 turning points before I had to tidy up... But I'm enjoying the challenge!

My Space Marine takes a shot to finish off their leader.My Lieutenant charged to fight the enemy. A bit of luck in the roll meant dealing a lot of damage without receiving any.
