The inexplicable mismanagement clearly wasn't just on Dan Quinn, but the players' lack of preparedness ultimately falls on him.

As Josh Harris deliberates whether the #Commanders need a new direction this offseason, the debacle could dictate Quinn’s fate: www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2026/...

Jameis Winston went 12-of-15 passing for 113 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs against the blitz in the second half. Winston finished with 15 completions against the blitz, the most in any game during his career. - via Jordan Raanan

Having slept on this overnight, I'm still angry about how the game ended but, the bigger point here (no pun intended) is that if the #Commanders kicker had secured the extra point after the 1st TD, all this would be academic, as the game would've ended 28-27 in Regulation.

Sloppy as fuck.

Oh and THE NFC EAST IS A COMPLETE CIRCUS 🤡💀 CAUSE I STILL WANT TO KNOW
WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENDING OF THE COMMANDERS/GIANTS GAME?!?! 😭 The clock management was a DISASTER. That was some of the lowest football IQ I’ve ever seen. Absolutely inexcusable. #nfl #commanders #giants

When you settle for the blown 28-3 Super Bowl lead guy, why would expect anything different than blown leads, lack of situational awareness with horrible clock management? #Commanders

Our next opponent is against the undefeated 49ers….oh I might actually not watch that game fr. I do not wanna see a slaughter 💀 #Commanders

Me anxiously checking to see of Dan Quinn and company have been fired…

Your annual reminder that no #NFL team has had a tie game and gone on to win the Super Bowl since the 1974 #Steelers (10-3-1). Others to do it:
'70 #Colts (11-2-1)
"67 #Packers (9-4-1) -- Lombardi's last title team.
#Commanders #Giants

Speaking of Daniels, here's the only other QB in #NFL history to pass for 100 yards (Jayden: 199) and rush for 100 (Jayden: 103) in a tie game:
#Commanders #Panthers #Giants

I'm excited. Jayden Daniels' 103 rushing yards for the #Commanders today are the third-most in franchise history in a tie game. The top two includes a HOFer, the great Gyp Battles:

Commanders botch last play in OT, resulting in tie; 'It's on me,' Daniels says #NFL #Commanders #JaydenDaniels #OT #Football

Ok @nflredzone.bsky.social Replaying the end of the #Giants #Commanders game 543,287 is enough already.

Giants vs Commanders was crazy, and a pathetic ending.

But Chargers vs Broncos awful for the chargers too. Talk of Harbaugh going back to college is likely to get louder #harbaugh #chargers #herbert #giants #commanders
