Beck, Ride Lonesome. His fifteenth studio album, just released this week, is a melancholic collection of slow, meditative, and introspective songs. The arrangements and orchestration are fantastic. #beck #capitolrecords #ridelonesome #cdcollection #dcsbartokapex

Another album that is in strong contention for the lower half of my top 5. That's turning into quite the contest.

It’s the Friday commute with another birthday boy. This great record turned how ever old yesterday. Social D were a punk band I discovered in my own way back when I first introduced to punk.

I find my best practice with the Melvins is to pull an album and sit with it for multiple listens.

This helps a lot with those longer passages that they go wandering off on. I’ve certainly become much more patient and appreciative of those the older I’ve gotten

Thursday commute with Elastica. Yesterday was Justine Frisohmann’s birthday. It’s been awhile since I last spun this CD and it’s a fun one for sure.
