HAPPY BIRTHDAY, #RobertAsher! He was born October 5, 1965, the second child of #BillAsher and #ElizabethMontgomery.

Because of his impending birth, Samantha became pregnant with Tabatha who would be born three months later on #Bewitched.

He is seen here sitting on his mother's lap with…1/🧵

HAPPY 140th BIRTHDAY, #CarterDeHaven! He played Henry in #Bewitched S1’s "Eye of the Beholder."

He was in Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" (1940). He also starred in many film shorts in the 20s and was a guest star twice on ‘The Donna Reed Show.’ ‘Bewitched’ was his last acting role.

It’s Serena Sunday! This is from her second appearance in S4s “Double, Double, Toil and Trouble.” It’s hard to think of this as Serena, but it really is as she was pretending to be Samantha as a ‘typical housewife.’

Mr. Brinkman ( #ShelleyBerman) and Samantha ( #ElizabethMontgomery) playing around with Mr. Brinkman’s former phone receiver in this promotional still from #Bewitched’s first #Halloween episode, S1s “The Witches Are Out” which celebrates its 62nd anniversary at the end of the month.

Years ago this #Bewitched photo with all but #ErinMurphy’s autograph made out to a David came up on eBay! I was so excited! Until it went for over $900!
But then a copy of the photo and autographs came up for way less on Etsy. Last year I got Erin’s personalized autograph to complete the collection.

A magical Third Season promotional photo from sixty years ago.

2/2…Ideal Toy Company released several versions of a #PebblesDoll to mark the occasion and Tabatha ended up with one. This is because Hanna Barbera, who created ‘the #Flintstones’ also animated the opening credits of #Bewitched.

It’s the 6th sighting of the Pebbles Flintstone doll in Tabatha’s nursery! From #Bewitched S3s “Witches and Warlocks are My Favorite Things” which aired 60 years ago on 9/29/66.

In Season Three of ‘the #Flintstones’ baby Pebbles is born in “the Blessed Event” which aired on 2/22/63. The…1/🧵

“Esmeralda seems to just be so dumb! Why would she let Caesar out the door thinking that would be a good solution to getting rid of him?”

Dell Comics released the third issue of the Bewitched comic book in October 1965. Love this spooky cover pic!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, #HerbVoland! He appeared 6x on #Bewitched.

He was a regular on ‘The Paul Lynde Show’ and had the recurring role of General Clayton on M*A*S*H. He had one time appearances on many other TV series including ‘Petticoat Junction.’

His death at the young age of 61 was due to a stroke.

2/2…" #Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" with #VicDamone. That song is what Liz wanted to be used for the theme song but it wasn't to be.

60 years ago tonight (10/1/66) #ElizabethMontgomery hosted the variety show ‘The #HollywoodPalace’ on ABC.

It's a fun show as it opens with her dancing to the #Bewitched theme sung with the words and #PaulLynde shows up to do some funny skits. Later on, Liz also sings…1/🧵

56 years ago tonight (10/1/70) ABC aired #Bewitched #202: “Salem, Here We Come.”

Excerpt from THE BEWITCHED HISTORY BOOK (available here ➡️ a.co/d/b7uFlBV):

“It’s too bad Endora wasn’t in this episode because Agnes Moorehead was really good friends with Caesar Romero a.k.a. Mr. Hitchcock.”
