Her gentle lips caressed his exposed nipple before she looked up at him. “How did you make ’em?”
His face sinched.

Samyaza blinked and glared at the dew-glistened grass. “Manifestation. Spark of Creation. Only way to tether ourselves to this world.”
“Until made flesh. And without them?” Her wicked gaze wandered away from his manly form.
His brow perked and twisted. “We’d drift through the void.”
“To Heaven?” Leto bit her lip as she stared at the empty street.

“We have seed, why can we not birth wings of our own?” Her eyes met his.
Samyaza chuckled under heavy breath. “Seed? Children? That’s replication not creation. Creation comes from nothing.”
“Then we should find a way to return the Spark to you and open the gates ourselves.” Blue orbs flashed.
“What?” A sneer began to form into a glower.
Giggles from a couple leaving the party up the street echoed along the vehicles. They thumped against a truck and kissed with wild passion before moving along.
Leto rubbed Samyaza’s beard as they watched the human couple. “You see what Heaven brings? Love.” Her tiny but strong hand pulled his lips to hers and silenced the discussion. The
