Very happy to find a little migrant Vestal moth in my field last night, they don’t often make their way to the Irish midlands, and best of all it was my first pink one💓#teammoth

A handful of Hummingbird Hawk-moths (Macroglossum stellatarum) I rereleased into my garden in Bournemouth this afternoon.

These are just some of the resulting adults of the 83 caterpillars I found on Hedge Bedstraw back in August. #TeamMoth

Not much happening in the moth front in our garden in the last two nights. Brown-spot Pinion was the only year ✅. Also, the first Dark Sword-grass of the autumn, some 2nd gen moths such as Light Emerald, and a very late Aspila janthinana. Durham, VC66. #TeamMoth @teesbirds.bsky.social

21/09/26. Unfortunately this raggedy-ar$ed Convolvulus Hawk-moth did nothing to de-humidify an already damp squib (165/22) and probably saddened the sorry affair to a higher degree... 😞 #teammoth #norfolkmoths

Haven’t had a lurker for a while, found this Large Wainscot NFY while setting up tonight’s traps. Can’t understand how I missed it earlier! Also on another positive note it’s feeling very promising out there. I hope you all get your dream moths in the trap tomorrow 😄 #teammoth

Some nice moths from last night, including one of the best-looking Mervs I’ve ever had!
Hopefully more to come tonight…one of those Pesky-lemon Sallows would do nicely 😄
